Sigrid Angelsen is a cellist and musician passionate about contemporary and experimental music. Born and raised in Trondheim, Norway, she began playing the cello at a young age and quickly developed a love for the instrument.

In 2023 she finished her bachelor’s degree in classical cello at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in New audiences and innovative practice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Netherlands. Here she specializes in contemporary and experimental music, working with complex written music, graphic notation, and improvisation
